IIRC, that coincides with Graham Hancock’s timeline when he suspects a major catastrophe hit Earth, and was chronicled, as it were, in separate civilizations around the globe.

Something like that happening now would be .... interesting. Satellites fried, the grid fried, telecommunications fried. At the end of the day we’re just cavemen without the skills.

55 Funny Punishments For Losing a Game In Class With Friends

Let’s dive into the fun!

1. Sing a nursery rhyme in front of the class.

When someone loses a game in class, they can sing a nursery rhyme for everyone.

They can choose a fun rhyme like “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” or “Old MacDonald Had a Farm.”

This punishment is funny and lets the class enjoy some music. Everyone can join in or clap along.

It’s a great way to bring smiles and a little bit of singing talent to the classroom!

2. Wear a funny hat for the rest of the day.

If a friend loses, they have to wear a funny hat. It could be a big cowboy hat, a silly beanie, or even a wizard’s hat.

They must wear it in class, in the halls, and even at lunch!

This will make everyone laugh and add a bit of fun to the whole day. The funny hat becomes a joke everyone shares.

3. Do a silly dance for 30 seconds.

Losing a game might mean doing a silly dance in front of everyone.

The dance should be as funny as possible. They could wiggle, hop, or even do the robot.

It’s a short dance, just half a minute, but it will make everyone giggle. It’s a quick way to shake off losing a game!

Speak in a made-up language for 5 minutes.
This punishment is super funny. The person has to talk in a language they make up.

It could be anything! They might say “blip blop” or “ding dong” instead of normal words.

They try to keep a straight face while everyone else tries to guess what they’re saying. It’s a fun and silly way to speak that gets everyone laughing.

4. Write a love poem to the teacher.

If someone loses, they might have to write a short love poem to the teacher.

It should be funny and sweet. The poem can talk about how great the teacher is or how much they love homework.

It’s just for fun and to give the teacher a good laugh. They read the poem aloud, and it’s all about making the moment light and enjoyable.
__________

Many more to choose from.

(the champagne sipping class leading “science” organizations, think tanks, and universities hate the following theory, so I think it may be true)

(excerpt) The Younger Dryas impact hypothesis suggests that a comet or asteroid impact, likely around 12,800 years ago, triggered the Younger Dryas cooling period and other significant environmental changes. This hypothesis proposes that the impact caused a sudden drop in global temperatures, contributed to the extinction of megafauna, and influenced the shift to agriculture in some regions.
Elaboration:
Younger Dryas:
This is a period of abrupt cooling that occurred around 12,800 years ago, interrupting a warming trend and causing a significant drop in global temperatures.
Impact Hypothesis:
The Younger Dryas impact hypothesis suggests that a comet or asteroid impact was the primary driver of this cooling period.
Evidence:
Proponents of the hypothesis point to the presence of unusual materials, like iridium and platinum, in sediment layers from the time period, suggesting a cosmic impact.
Consequences:
The Younger Dryas impact is thought to have caused:
Extinctions: The impact is linked to the extinction of large mammals like mammoths and cave bears.
Climate Change: It is believed to have triggered a sudden cooling period, with temperatures dropping by as much as 10°C in some regions.
Cultural Shifts: The impact may have contributed to changes in human populations, potentially leading to the decline of some cultures and the rise of new ones, like the shift to agriculture.
Ongoing Research:
The Younger Dryas impact hypothesis is still being researched and debated, with new evidence and analysis continually emerging.
