My sister has psoriasis. One possible reason for it is that there may be a food allergy involved.

What kind of blockers? Beta blockers? The beta blockers caused the suicide or the psoriasis was caused by the beta blockers?

Every 3 days, change bedding, take a shower and on your soapy washcloth, add Head & Shoulders Deep Scalp Clean shampoo - then scrub down, yourself, top to bottom - except of course, protecting your eyes.

I havwe it seasonally, a patch on my right lower leg and on the back side f my upper right arm. It usually comes in Late winter or spring.

The only thing that cures it is sun or a UV tanning bed.

Stress makes it worse.

Are you talking about beta blockers?

By “Blocker”, I assume you mean “histamine blocker.” The role of the histamine H4 receptor in atopic dermatitis and psoriasis.

I have had major problems with this and found the cure after several hospital visits and illnesses in a simple enzyme, Diamine Oxidase(DAO). It is an over the counter supplement that actually degrades histamines in the body. It is far better than a blocker as it does not cause the horrible side effects of a blocker. I now make it myself and it is easy to make.

If you really want to understand Histamines, here is an excellent article that summarizes how they effect the entire body. Not just sinus congestion, stomach acid excess, inflammation, but also heart arrhythmias, joint pain, psoriasis, eczema, arthritis, migraine headaches, irritable bowel syndrome ...

Here is a link to the article: https://ajcn.nutrition.org/article/S0002-9165(23)28053-3/fulltext

“in vitro studies on human immune cells, which play a role in psoriasis, provide more conflicting results to predict a successful treatment of the disease with H4 receptor antagonists. On one side, the enhanced production of IL‐17 and histamine‐induced migration of immune cells may foster the inflammation, and on the other side, down‐regulation of pro‐inflammatory cytokines or chemokines most pronounced in pDCs from psoriasis patients may control the inflammation. Psoriasis is mainly a Th1‐/Th17‐mediated disease. “

Antihistamines in the treatment of pruritus in psoriasis

Antihistamines of the first and second generations seem to be effective in reducing itch in patients with psoriasis, albeit the antipruritic effect is rather moderate.

Here are the symptoms of high histamines in the body. This chart is at the link to the Maintz research article, the link is in my previous post.

Pruritus, commonly known as itching, is a symptom that can occur in various conditions, including psoriasis, which is a chronic skin disease characterized by red, scaly patches. While pruritus refers specifically to the sensation of itch, psoriasis is a specific condition that may cause this symptom along with other skin changes.

“I keep my psoriasis at ease by fasting and or intermittent fasting..”

Here is why that works.

When you eat, the stomach stretches, causing the G-cells in the lining of the stomach to release Gastrin into the bloodstream. Gastrin is a peptide hormone that stimulates secretion of gastric acid by the parietal cells of the stomach.

It does this indirectly by causing the Enterochromaffin Like Cells (ECL Cells) in the lining of the stomach to produce Histamines, Serotonin, and Somatotropin (HGH). The histamines then trigger the h2 receptors in the parietal cells in the Fundus of the stomach to release both acid for digestion and Intrinsic Factor. (Intrinsic Factor attaches to B-Vitamins and protects them in the acid of the stomach so they are not destroyed. Specifically B-12, a deficiency of which causes severe depression.)

This is why many elderly get B-12 injections to bypass the acid in the stomach.

Bottom line is that two chemicals are effected that can cause severe depression, Vitamin B-12 Deficiency and the Serotonin produced in the ECL cells. (95% of the human Serotonin is produced in the ECL cells in the stomach) Prozac and other SSRI’s are drugs to increase serotonin in the body. This is one reason that blockers are dangerous.

I mentioned above about DOA enzyme. It degrades histamines in the entire body and does not function as a “blocker.” I figured this out during my last visit to the ER, while researching on my phone. I ordered them from Amazon, took two tablets before I went to bed, and woke up in the morning after the best sleep I have had in years, feeling 30 years younger.

Histamines also cause severe brain fog. I was drinking coffee to clear my mind. Ends up the caffeine in the coffee also destroys the DAO enzyme in the body. I was caught in a vicious cycle, drinking coffee 24/7 to clear the brain fog, not realizing that it was also causing it.

I woke up with a clear mind, no inflammation in my lungs, neck or joints..... and truly felt 30 years younger from just taking 2 tablets of DAO Enzyme.

What amazed me was that a few days after this I had my annual physical with my primary care Dr. He is a fabulous Dr and I’ve seen him for over 15 years. I took a copy of the journal article above and the box of DAO enzyme with me to the appointment. He was not familiar with it. He took the journal article and promised that he would read it and follow up on it. I’ve since discussed this with several Dr’s who are friends of mine, and none of them were familiar with this simple enzyme.

I make it by sprouting green peas in a dark environment for 10 days. Luckily, I have a commercial freeze dryer so I dried and powdered it, and now fill my own capsules.

It dries the sinuses out like taking a Benadryl, with no drowsiness. Remember, it degrades histamines in the body, it does not block them.

The problem is that when food is cooked, temperatures over 104 degrees degrades the DAO enzyme.

I suffered with dermatitis for over 25 years and as it turns out, it was caused by an allergic reaction to the aluminum based deodorant that I used since my teens.
I discovered the connection in the early days of the covid lock down.
My underarms always itched, but one morning the skin there was pale and swollen.
I applied an ointment given to me by my Dermatologist and the skin peeled away along with all of the hair follicles under my arms.
The ointment was not intended for my underarms, but I tried it there to remove the dead skin as it was intended to be used on my dermatitis.
As I was not required to go to work, I stopped using my deodorant just to give the skin under my arms time to heal,
and my dermatitis began to heal as well.
I switched to a carbon based deodorant and my dermatitis is completely healed.
Obviously my experience is not applicable to everyone, but I share my story with others in case others might find relief.
Recently, son complained about his underarms itching and I gave him the carbon based deodorant that I used and his itching is gone.

I have psoriasis.
Vitamin D, lots of sunlight ( I use a uvb narrow band light box when it’s almost out of control ) and steroid creams as necessary.
I used one of these blockers and my body started throwing clots.
Stroke, pe and lots of other problems.
Be very careful.

This crap getting peddled on tv is just that: crap.

RFKjr wants to put a stop to TV ads for prescription drugs. I couldn't agree more.

So sorry about your friend's grievous loss.
