Does it seem to you that people find more gold/silver/bronze coins in England than anywhere else in Europe or even the world.

There’s hardly a year that goes by when there isn’t some news of a vast new hoard of coins being found somewhere in England—but not so much ireland or scotland or even wales

The coins look like someone cut out slices for themselves.
BTW this is the reason many coins today have ridges on the edge so you can tell if someone is trying to cheat you.
