When you used that word referencing someone reading a Nazi publication some can't help connect to the gruesome fact that many lampshades were made from the tanned skins of Holocaust victims - some even showing the numbers tattooed on them.
Probably shows a character fault on my part for connecting what was a coincidental use of language.
