Tattoos have become a more common sight in workplaces around the United States, even making appearances among members of the U.S. House and Senate. Amid this shift, a large majority of U.S. adults say society has become more accepting of people with tattoos in recent decades, according to a new Pew Research Center survey. And 32% of adults have a tattoo themselves, including 22% who have more than one.......

Gender: 38% of women have at least one tattoo, compared with 27% of men. This includes 56% of women ages 18 to 29 and 53% of women ages 30 to 49.

Race and ethnicity: 39% of Black Americans have a tattoo, compared with 35% of Hispanic, 32% of White and 14% of Asian Americans.

Age: Adults under 50 are especially likely to have a tattoo. Some 41% of those under 30 have at least one, as do 46% of those ages 30 to 49. This compares with a quarter of adults ages 50 to 64 and 13% of those 65 and older. Education: 37% of those with some college or less education have a tattoo, compared with 24% of those with a bachelor’s degree and 21% of those with a postgraduate degree.

Income: 43% of lower-income adults have a tattoo, compared with 31% of those in middle-income households and 21% of those in upper-income households. Religion: 41% of religiously unaffiliated adults have at least one tattoo, compared with 29% of those who are affiliated with a religion.

Sexual orientation: Around half of lesbian, gay or bisexual Americans (51%) have at least one tattoo. The share is especially high among women in this group: 68% are tattooed, including 55% who have more than one tattoo. By comparison, 31% of straight Americans have at least one tattoo.

The number of tattoos is in some inverse relationship with IQ and self respect.

“Nuun is also used in various grammatical functions in Arabic. For example, it is used as a suffix indicating feminine plural verb conjugations, and as a prefix for first-person plural imperfective/present tense verbs”

Sounds GREAT!

Where I work, you better not show any ink if you’re interviewing - too many bad experiences for the boss to want more of the same.

Our four adult kids decided to get together and get small matching tattoo’s to commemorate family togetherness.

My wife and I chose not tonight play. But it shows how well they get along and has some meaning.

One son also has a stylized Bible verse tattoo that he got after a friend died after my son pulled his lifeless body out of a lake. He drowned after a seizure underwater.

I can’t complain about either. None are in your face

People often get Chinese tattoos without knowing the actual meaning. That doesn’t often go well for them. My wife is Chinese. While out at a restaurant she suddenly burst out laughing, bur wouldn’t tell me why. On the way home she told me that one woman’s tattoo said, “I am a filthy whore”.

>> That cute butterfly tat they got in the small of their back on spring break morphs into a panorama of Mothra destroying Tokyo as they approach 40.

SNL pointed this truth in a skit from years ago, back when they were funny: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=vBmvfW7WOUc

Because God did not make them perfect enough to be truly loved. Tranny teens think so too....for now.

You used to get a tattoo to stand out.

Now you get a tattoo to fit in.

WHY?

Solidarity with Christians being persecuted by Islamofascists.

Plus, it looks cool.

Tattoos on men are unsightly, on women repulsive.

Yep. They see people on TV with tattoos and can’t resist doing the same. That’s also why they talk like smurfs, every other word is an f-bomb because that is what they see on TV.

One disadvantage: When a married couple share the same tattoo, and if later their relationship ends, their permanent tattoo may become a nuisance reminder of their past relationship.

I refuse to date any woman who has a tattoo. They are ugly and destroy a woman's true feminine beauty.

Ditto! I have seen many otherwise beautiful women who have ruined their good looks with graffiti on their bodies.

“The letter Nuun has historical significance as well. During the conflict in Iraq in 2014, the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) marked the homes and businesses of Christians with the Arabic letter “n,” which stands for Nazarene or Nasrani, the Arabic word for Christian. This act was a signal to Christians to convert, pay a tax, or face execution.”

“Leviticus 19:28 New Living Translation (NLT)

“Do not cut your bodies for the dead, and do not mark your skin with tattoos. I am the LORD.”

I have made numerous posts on this subject before, one more time.
You see the power of blind conformity to social pressure and fads, this is a most deleterious one. Apart from desecrating your body, it is a choice you cannot erase, forever a mark on your body and conscience. On women is is a disgrace, for no other reason than to be accepted into the current zeitgeist. For men it is also a nod to your current peer pressure.

lastly, and most important, the ink does not stay stationary, it migrates to lymph nodes where it will cause cancer in due time.
God was correct—in all that he has spoken—and maybe we should listen.
