Football star Tim Tebow appeared this week on "The Shawn Ryan Show" to discuss his work fighting child exploitation and advocating for the "Renewed Hope Act," which would give DHS more funding and authority to pursue sex criminals. [video at link]
TIM TEBOW: Specifically, our heart is to get to as many and leverage anything and everything we can so that they can get out of this evil.
As I mentioned earlier, you think so much is done by all these groups and gangs, and yes, that does take place in a lot of areas. But man, it’s overwhelming when you think how much is done by families, by friends, by those in the trusted circle. Especially when we talk about the fight against child exploitation and child sexual abuse, it’s off the charts what is being done in families.
Do you know what’s—I want to say most disappointing, but maybe one of the most heartbreaking? Do you know the number one offender? Biological fathers. Man, it’s not going to make your day.
I brought a map to share with you. This is the map—every red dot on that. First of all, that is a DOJ law enforcement map; it’s called the Red Dot Map. Every red dot on that map is at least one unique IP address of individuals downloading, sharing, distributing child abuse and rape images under the age of 12. There’s over 111,000 of them just in the U.S. in the last 30 days. Wow. I wanted to bring that because I think it brings to life so much of the evil that we’re trying to face.
People will say, “Well, that’s just over there, and it’s in those countries and all of those places.” And it’s not, Sean. It’s right here in our backyard.

We need more rope.
110,000. A huge amount.
No map in the body of the article. Not watching the video.
I continue to remind my wife that evil exists and is always closer than you think.
We need more wood-chippers.

Most men are biological fathers. So, I’m not seeing the need for Tebow to portray biological fathers as perverts.
I don’t understand this.
If they know the IP addresses and can plot them on a physical map, why in the hell aren’t there 110,000 arrests in the past month?
Something about this doesn’t make any sense.
“Most men are biological fathers. So, I’m not seeing the need for Tebow to portray biological fathers as perverts.”
I think that you might be missing the point.
It’s not that Tebow is characterizing biological fathers as perverts en masse, it’s that it isn’t always a relative, a mother’s boyfriend, or a babysitter that is committing this unspeakable horror on a child - that in some cases, it’s the actual father of the child.
Under the Pedo-Joe administration I can see why the DOJ would be ordered not to spend time on these cases. But now I cannot understand why there are not massive arrests.
It’s a lot. At the same time, it’s .03% of the population, or about .12% of the adult male population. Probably within statistical norms of the criminally insane population. These ones are worse than most because they mostly live and work among normal people and have to hide. They need to be hunted. If we have their IP address what is LE waiting for? Build a CECOT in the desert and get to it. After conviction confiscate their assets for restitution to the victims many of whom will need emotional love and social support.

Just because they have an IP address and location doesn’t mean they have a person. Anyone with minimal technical skills can change their IP to reflect another location, say from a blue state to a red state, with no name associated. The person who did the download CAN be found but unless it’s a high-profile case it is usually not considered worth the time and expense to do so. If their true identity is discovered, they may be put on a watch list for repeat offences.
Those stupid enough to commit a crime with their actual IP address are probably already arrested or being watched.
The FBI is confident that you wont figure this out, and they can keep on defying Federal Law all they want so one day they can catch a real bad guy.
This is really disturbing. Are there really that many sick pedos out there? Or is it just a few who require astronomical amounts of images to get off to?
Lot of them use VPN to mask but most of the legitimate VPN services have the ability to unmask if requested by law enforcement so your in a situation where you’re having to prosecute one at a time vs. large swaths.
Kind of like how the Democrats are trying to do with illegal aliens.
“Biden appointed federal judge orders child sexual abuse material be distributed in latest blow to Trump”
I'd love to know if there's a breakdown of how many people that is. One person viewing porn from his phone might use a home IP address, then away from home use a cell carrier's IP address. And within 30 days both the home ISP's IP address and cell carrier's IP address can change many times.
So within 30 days I wouldn't be surprised if one person uses 10 or more IP addresses from his phone. That might make the 100K IP addresses equate to 10K or even fewer end consumers.
That's still high, just trying to wrap my mind about what the real numbers (people viewing) might be.
The problem with the VPN hypothesis is that...
#1 They wouldn’t have the physical location to put on a map if they were all using VPNs. They would only have the physical location of the VPN server. That map wouldn’t look like the map Tebow displayed. All of the locations would be in data centers hosting the VPN services.
#2 Any VPN service in the United States would be compelled to unmask the user if they were suspected of being involved in child sex crimes.
This story doesn’t make sense.

True....true....and true. I didn’t get a close look at the map, so I have no idea if these were individual home street addresses, or, as you said, locations of various VPN servers. I suspect the former because there probably wouldnt be that many vpn servers. And we really don’t know how and how far any investigation has progressed. I hope they are arresting these perverts as we speak, but the mills of justice grind incredibly slow.
