The life and success of John Madden is ample justification for a biopic movie. John Madden was larger than life and a legend in his own time. He was very beloved of NFL fans all around the league. I don’t see a problem with telling his story in a movie.

A record of 103-32 is not to be scoffed at. Maddens win percentage is the second highest in NFL history, just above #3 Vince Lombardi.

The movie Director for “Madden” did American Hustle and Silver Lining’s Playbook. I expect to a well told story. We will see.

I enjoy watching the old NFL broadcasts, and it really makes me miss Pat Summerall. It just isn’t the same now.

He was a coach of men playing a boy’s game. This is the NFL pandering, nothing more.
