Business associate of mine had a business in South Africa. He was Belgian. His software company wrote packages for municipal government operations. For weeks after the “takeover” he would watch guys hanging out down his street. Soon he left not able to take his money with him. this was 25 years ago. Zimbabwe did the same thing with it’s farmers. They used to export their farm yields, now i think they are starving.
