Bombshell discovery at 'site of Noah's Ark' which researchers say could prove Biblical story true
Daily Mail ^ | 5/13/25 | Stacey Liberatore

High in the mountains of Turkey sits a mysterious geological formation that some researchers believe could be the remains of Noah's Ark.

According to the Bible, the massive vessel saved humanity and every kind of animal from annihilation during a catastrophic flood more than 4,300 years ago.

Now, a team of American researchers working at Durupinar Formation near Mount Ararat has uncovered evidence of angular structures and a void deep within the mountain.

I probably shouldn’t tell anyone I have about 50 perfect red heifers on the ranch at any given time.

I thought that maybe they’d just live in the Ark for a while.

If I had riden out a great flood like that, I’d stick close to my boat.

“Pretty sure I saw it on “That’s Incredible” in the 1980s, too”

As well, although it may have been Lenard Nimoy’s “In Search of” 1978/79? Although both shows may have had Lost Ark episodes.

To become petrified, it would need to be buried and have vast amounts of groundwater flow around it to replace the organic matter with silica.

I would have been too young, I think.

Really didn’t have access to TV until about halfway through whenever the A-Team came on.

So whenever that overlap was.

“It looks like a sharp convex fold. An anticline. Either way, it looks like rock and not wood.”

They claim it is petrified wood. But that would still make it millions of years old anyhow. Way older than the Noah timeline. It is an ancient mud flow that has been metamorphosed deep and then uncovered again by erosion.

I checked it out on Goggle Earth years ago and the whole area around this is covered with these very same structures, they just do not happen to be the convenient “shape” everyone wishes was true like this one is.

It is natural...

“You are correct, Sir. So tired of it.”

They do this a couple times a year to get new funding from religious groups.

My dad always said, “It’s the smell of money”. Although there were times the market was such we didn’t make any money.

The article revealed a date - May 1948 when it became exposed.

Interesting - May 1948 - On May 14, 1948, the British Mandate for Palestine ended, and the State of Israel was proclaimed by David Ben-Gurion, the head of the Jewish Agency.

The article declares: more than 4,300 years ago...

The only problem is, there is much disagreement over the date of Noah’s Flood.

Modern Tanakh (c. 1,000 AD to now, from the oldest one until now) employing the Masoretic text places the flood about 300 years before Abraham’s birth.

Much older scrolls written in Paleo Hebrew, be it from the Samaritan Pentateuch or the DSS, add on about 500 years more from the time of Noah’s flood to the time of Abraham’s birth.

Multiple Septuagint codices (dated from 250 AD to 600 AD) add on far more years.
