Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Sunday welcomed Russia’s offer for direct peace talks, but insisted there must be a full, temporary ceasefire in place before negotiations can start.
Zelenskyy, writing on X, called Russian President Vladimir Putin’s counter-offer to start talks without a ceasefire a “positive sign,” and said that “the entire world has been waiting for this for a very long time.”

Yes, Ukraine signed the UN Charter. In 1945, the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic, as it was then, became a founding member of the United Nations, signing the Charter on June 26, 1945. It was one of the first 51 countries to do so.

The Globalists have failed at every turn. The voters are rejecting their war, and they respond by denying of political parties and candidates who oppose the EU five year plan for rearment and war with Russia.
Like the US who telegraphed our Pivot to Asia to fight a war with China in the Pacific which was originally set for 2025, 2026 and now later... the EU is claiming they will rearm and then fight Russia.
The patience of other countries who are nuclear armed hearing that their enemies need time to get ready so they can fight a war with them is admirable. The EU will continue to use Ukraine to fight Russia until they are strong enough to join the conflict... My guess is that about the time they assemble their armed forces, they will get nuked as patience wears inevitably out.
Since Trump was elected he has made the case that Russia is not to blame for Ukraine in total, that Zelinski and the EU partners are also to blame. Creating an offensive military force 3 the standing size of Russia’s military, in large part under Trump’s presidency makes Trump the wrong person to make demands that Russia Surrender. Trump needs to break from the government of Ukraine and stand with the People of Ukraine, e.g., the Zelinski Bandara’s NAZI regime. Trump needs to take his Olive Branch and his Club and trade war against Russia and BRICS, and understand that he is on the losing side of the conflict.
Should the US escalate and continue to attack Russia, Trump will go from a man of peace label to the man who lost God’s favor and set the final book of the Bible into motion.
Putin’s announcement of restarting negotions with Ukraine in Istanbul directing between Moscow and Kiev is exactly what Trump demanded, but without Trump’s condidtions. Trump has demanded pending sanctions and more weapons that Russia negotiate with Ukraine.
