Take The Weekend, for example. Debuting at 7 a.m. on Saturday with hosts Jonathan Capehart, Eugene Daniels, and Jackie Alemany, the show averaged just 433,000 total viewers and 39,000 in the key 25–54 demo.

There are probably more people watching Turner Classic Movies' Saturday morning collection of shorts from the 30s, 40s, and 50s: there would be more history to them, and less prevarication.
