They think that ALL, people who become homeless are druggies, worthless, and drunks.
What they cant understand is through greed, a good one third of those homeless people are seniors who have been economically forced out of their homes. Developers drive the cost of housing through the roof..etc.
One little slip up happens and retired people on fixed incomes can and will lose everything.
Even retirement funds do not cover costs these days with inflation the way it is.
What they want, and its been said on here no doubt, is for senior homeless people to be put into concentration type camps. Then, they can kill them off.
That is their attitude.

Indeed. I lived it
and hope that I wasn’t so judgemental. Covid was raging and Oregon had everything locked down when my community burned. No motels. Couldn’t even gi inside for a meal or bathroom!
So many times I was treated like a vagrant. The humiliation almost killed me.
I had planned for my old age... lived in town, had all the ambulatory equipment.....
Now, 50 miles away stuck in the boonies trying to start over as the government takes my SS checks every month because they decided WITHOUT DUE PROCESS, that emergency catastrophy funds were a loan.
I should be in assisted living but now I can’t afford that. It’s so frightening out here.
In my jurisdiction homeowners were allowed to have two rental units in the single family house. Then people decided to require everyone to get a basic business license, prove they don’t owe more than $100 in taxes and fees, and have an approved building inspection. This has forced a lot of old people to sell their homes rather than have two low cost renters to help all 3 unites survive in current conditions. Good way to increase the number of low income homeless on our streets.
