The days of bands filling stadiums is about to end.
AC/DC is probably the last one.
Nobody cares about any band that came after 1990.
That is because John was a coke addict
Indeed, the aging process can be cruel!
The Who came to St. Louis a few years ago, and I decided not to go because I just didn't want to see them as old men on a stage. I prefer the images captured on film of them going all over the stage- Pete doing windmills, and so on.
But apparently, the show featured the local symphony orchestra and got great reviews. I wished I would have gone.
I know, but the classic 70s, he mostly used Gibsons.
Clapton also played a Strat for the Cream reunion in 2005, which looked weird.
I saw them in 1982 at the Carrier Dome @ Syracuse.
Then again that summer at Rich Stadium in Orchard Park, NY.
The Clash opened up for them.
Oops wrong thread.
I’m sure even now they drop some F-bombs, even had one on their last album.
RD’s been touring with his own band.

Once upon a time, in a land far, far away, I traded an $8.00 WHO ticket for a four-finger bag of Mexican ditch weed.
It’s still sitting on my “things I regret” list.
Let me see what I can do...
THE WHO

Saw them at MSG on their last tour; will certainly go see them again. BTW, billed as “the world’s most famous arena,” whenever I’m there (MSG), I contemplate some of the stories that place could tell...
If only Abbie Hoffman were still around so Pete can attack him again.
1) Get old.
2) Die.
That’s the plan now.
They just reversed the order.
I have similar thought on Neil Young. He is coming here to NH this summer. I considered going to see him, even though he is a flaming liberal.
However, he is OLD. I think I will just choose to remember him they way he sounded in 1977 when I bought his Decade Album.
