Not an orchestrated crisis.
A fabricated crisis.

The data depended upon to generate these conclusions was itself faulty.

“Glaciers were to be gone from Glacier National Park by 2020, but they’re still there.”
Its dramatic when you see signs like this.

Or perhaps an orchestrated fabricated crisis. 😁

You have to realize that 1982 is about 25% of the time back to the end of The Little Ice Age which is likely when the glaciers were at a maximum for the last thousand years. The glaciers have probably been shrinking since around 1850.

The ice sheets grew despite the active volcanos of Antarctica.

You could just as well put a marker in downtown Chicago that says, “A mile-thick glacier existed here 10,000 years ago.” The climate changes, sometimes dramatically, on its own. We have no significant effect, nor can we affect its direction. End of story.

Oh my goodness!
Now we are screwing up the conversation with facts/data...

“….how come the oceans are not raising above our heads?…”.
Basically, because ice floats.

Worlwide, yes. We CAN destroy rather large local systems if we are determined (look at Easter Island and Haiti). We could probably dry up the Colrado River if we put our minds to it. So ... DON'T BE STUPID. But no, we couldn't make the earth 5 degrees hotter on average overall simply by operating cars, factories, and beef ranching.

No matter what the weather, ice caps shrinking or expanding, the left will blame it on the generic “Climate Change” which covers both cooling and warming.
Makes me think it’s not about “Climate Change” at all, but about controlling people’s lives and bankrupting them in the process to “fight Climate Change.”

Also, the smaller a mass of ice gets, the faster it melts. The ratio of surface area to volume becomes greater.
Glaciers melting at “an unprecedented rate” is what one calls “Duh!”

Sea ice floats. Glaciers do not float; they’re on land. When glaciers melt, the water ends up in the ocean. Melting glaciers increase the volume of water in the oceans. These are undeniable facts.
The percentage increase in ocean water volume due to melting glaciers can be calculated, as can its effect on mean sea level. I have not yet seen a calculation of that percentage which is well supported by evidence.

Yah, like every other shyster involved in any aspect of the global warming scam, they take measurements in one selected area and then “assume” it applies everywhere.
Nothing more than BS!

So many “scientists” and “experts” are compromised by the funding of their projects. The resulting “science” is mainly a tool for arrogants’ control of others and for their getting ever more money.
Pox upon them all.
