You’re right. The reason you (and I and all other reasonably well-adjusted people) can’t respond rationally is, I believe, simply that these are genuinely evil people. They are demonic, and their activities in that spiritual realm are being made known in this material one. The only proper response to this is to permanently remove them from society. I have my own opinion as to how that might best be accomplished.
Just because the psychiatric community delisted homosexuality as a mental disorder does not mean that it is not still a mental disorder.
