BTW, for all you fabric-philes, my youngest is the same daughter that created her own dress from threads she made herself.
All threads were clipped, combed, spun and woven by her in her home studio.
She then entered it into the Maryland Fabric Show and won ‘Best In Class’.
Many may recall I posted the photo gallery of her in the dress at the Show to an FRQ thread some ages ago.

Thanks, hadn’t thought of that, Ill try it. I have a tube of “horse paste” from Amazon on the shelf but never used it.
Due to a lot of sun exposure over the years I’ve had pre-cancerous and skin cancer spots removed on my face, neck, hands and scalp, either burned off by liquid nitrgogen or removed with a scalpel (not melanoma).
Then I got a series of “blue light” treatments by the dermatologist that cleared up about 95% of the pre-cancer spots.
While passing through Clarksville, Tennessee, last year I called around the pharmacies in town to get ivermectin over the counter. Most of them didn’t carry it, but I found one that would sell me a bottle of 25 for $5 per pill. Found out later that they would not refill it by mail to my home state, only in person. It’s also on my prepper shelf, not used yet.
Wonder if the local Ukranian Orthodox Churches are going to keep their “we support Ukraine” and flags out.

I was backing American Promise because I wanted to see the headline, and also, his jockey was one of only two American jockeys in the race. I should have followed my gut instinct and typical requirements, because both Sovereignty and Journalism hit all my requirements (big ass, rear step extension, carriage and charisma). I had Sovereignty third. I had placed Sandman second because 1. He is gorgeous and 2. He is gorgeous. But he looked like he was being bent over and dragged to the gate, which is a big red flag for me. I want them walking to the gate calmly with head held high and ears perked, with a look that says, “Y’all ‘bout to see somethin’.”

I came out ahead. I had Sandman for W, Journalism for W-P-S, Sovereignty for W-P, Luxor Cafe for W-P-S, and my long shot Chunk of Gold for W.
I hit on Journalism and Sovereignty. Very small bets, so very small winnings. I expected Sandman to be up there, but then again, there are a LOT of horses and with the muddy track, it changes things for some horses.
There was zero delay once the last horse was in the gate. It looked like a few were surprised.
