To: Thank You Rush

“Do you know why? My grandson is 16 and not even interested in getting his drivers permit. I told him I will soon be giving up driving and my car will be his. I get a Ho Hum from him. He pretends he doesn’t hear me when I ask him WHY he’s not interested...Beats me...”

I wouldn’t complain and would call it a silver lining. Have you priced insurance for the under age 16 year old kid yet? You might find it a blessing he isn’t in a hurry to drive. :)

Man, my daughter told me what she is paying for two of my grandkids to drive and she had to get a second job to pay for it...

My parents refused to pay for my car insurance.
I started working at 15 1/2 to save up to pay the outrageous cost of it
for when I turned 17 (or was it 16 1/2? I forget. But I remember that I
paid a bit over $2000 per year for insurance. It was a total rip-off.
