Driving Without a Driver License

Posted on 04/30/2025 8:40:53 AM PDT by bluescape

A lot of X videos show cars stopped by police for various reasons where the drivers says they don't have to have a driver's license. Some say they are traveling not driving or something similar. They might add 'it's common law that you can drive without a license.

Besides the reason for being stopped like being drunk or speeding, and even besides being uncooperative and belligerent cause they might have drugs on them, are they right about not being required to have a driver's license?

I"m in Oklahoma and I thought it was widely known that you better have your license and registration on you as well as proof of insurance if you're pulled over.

Maybe the laws changed or differ from state to state.

Are these 'travelers' without a license right? Much of the time they don't want to give their name or other info that would be included on a license. Usually if your watching the video on X their claim isn't doing them any good since they're getting arrested.

I know two people who drive their motorized 🛴 scooters to and fro from work. Zero license, zero registration..... Motorized 🦼Vehicles

Then you see those motorized 🦼 wheel chairs from time to time out and about.

And another who e bikes..

By the time a person graduates from high school, he (not she, as women should not be permitted to drive), should have a base required surety in case of an accident. Vs. the govt. fascist insurance racket, and registration.

In other words, pay up in front of a jury of 12.
No more plea racket.

Bill of Rights folks.

No, you do not need ID to walk down a sidewalk. However, you must identify yourself if asked by LE. You can ID yourself by giving your name and where you live but you do not have to have documentation on your person just to walk down the sidewalk. OTOH,if you are engaging in an activity that requires an age limit, such as drinking alcohol or smoking, then yes, you have to have documentation of your age.

I guess you want them wearing burkas and being escorted by male relatives in public, only for emergencies.

Otherwise they’re to stay home, out of sight, right?????

And the FR Men’s Women Hater’s Club wonders why feminism is a thing. Treating women like chattel or property explains a lot.

Driving is considered a privilege,

Not that I disagree with your statement but it does call into question the ancient title of land where most, if not all of our highways are built. The thing called a "RIGHT" -OF-WAY. The legal title of that land seems to infer more than just privilege. I suppose the powers that be can pile on with the privilege part since the rights-of-way have been value added with asphalt, etc.
