I sent the computer board to some guy and for $50 he changed the switches or whatever to keep it on 8 cyl the entire time.

How does one find guys that can do this?

I think I was on the Chevy Avalanche Fanclub site (where I first learned about the engine problem). Somebody had posted the guy’s name.

I was boxing it up and my wife asked what I was doing and I told her.

“So - you’re sending off your computer board to some strange guy in the Midwest that you found on the internet!? Good luck with that!”
