Comment 6 on this thread refers to a Stephen A Smith quote.

It was becoming SO OBVIOUS it had to be collusion.

Goodell must have given the okay.

Stephen A is an idiot. It was NOT a bad look for the league. It is NOT collusion. Goodell works for the owners, not the other way around.

If there was collusion, he wouldn't have been drafted at all.

No NFL team is going to pass on a franchise QB even if he behaved a like prick in interviews.

But, they will if a QB isn't guaranteed to be starter.

Sanders came and still could fall into the Colin Kaepernick and Tim Tebow category. If he isn't good enough to start, no team is going to tolerate him being a distraction.
