Would he prefer Russia taking the whole country? How about WWIII?

That Rubicon was crossed a long time ago when Bush got the Ukes to give up their nukes. It was gun control for nations, the suicidal psychotic exception being Iran.

The Ukes NEVER had nukes. They were stationed on Ukraine territory before the USSR broke up, but they were still manned and controlled by Russia.

Ukraine was part of the USSR until 1991. Those nukes belonged to Russia.

The nukes were not controlled by Ukraine, so that claim has no real substance to it. Like our nuclear weapons, no one person can launch them. Those required authorization fro the Soviet Union’s leader.
