Since you have no interest in the topic, it’s odd you’re spending so much time posting in it.

You think that my 2 shorts posts required a lot of my time on this topic. One was my opinion, which II clearly stated was my opinion. My 2nd post was to respond to your statement t which speculated on my qualifications for reality. I wasn't questioning whether the magnetic fields might reverse, because I have no clue if they do or don't reverse. If they do, then the world is still here, and so are many species pf plants, mammals, insects & other lifeforms that we keep discovering, while some species have been render extinct.

Now this is my 3rd response, mainly to set the record straight. Between Computer models spitting out BS, along with supposed "experts" lying, I guess I have become jaded over what is real & what is not real.

The following is what the AI that Brave browser uses response to my question on this topic where I asked how many times has the earth's magnetic fields reversed:

The Earth's magnetic field has undergone numerous reversals over geological time. Over the last 83 million years, there have been at least 183 reversals, which averages to one reversal approximately every 450,000 years.

In the last 10 million years, there have been, on average, 4 or 5 reversals per million years.

These reversals are not predictable and do not occur at regular intervals.

The latest reversal, the Brunhes–Matuyama reversal, occurred 780,000 years ago.

As you can see, it presents a far different answer to the study you presented. How in the world am I ever able to discern which of either is even close to the truth?

It may be an interesting topic, but I seem to never get the truth, or if I have that I can tell that I have received the truth.

I believe on the Lord, do you know why? It's because what we live on and what exists beyond our blue ball, was not created by happenstance. It was the creation of an intelligent creator. For me, that is the only logical conclusion. I know not how the Lord came to being, nor do I even understand fully why he created his creation. It provides pleasures, but it also provides horrible horrors. I assume our experiences are teaching moments for us to progress.

I almost always enjoy your posts, but when I get humans telling that these things occur, I generally take them with a grain of salt, because I can neither confirm or deny what they say, but when they bring in computer models, or even AI for that matter, that skepticism level rises in considerable measure.

Perhaps its because my career dealt with computers. I admit that AI is a pretty impressive feat that programmers were able to assemble using scripts & data gathered, but it is still a mimic of intelligence & producing an answer based upon available data provided it to access. They have even done an outstanding job of giving it somewhat of realistic feel of possessing empathy & feelings.

This my friend is what my posts providing a lot of time to create, is what my spending time looks like. 🙂👍

Take care & keep providing interesting topics, but realize that some may peek my interests more than others. 🙂👍

Also, make a note to yourself that my macular degeneration may keep me from reading all of rather longish posts, and that the likelihood of my continuing reading where I run across certain phrases, with computer models being a major stopper for me. 🙂👍

‘ How in the world am I ever able to discern which of either is even close to the truth?’

You’ve answered that question already.

Ask your god.

Get back to everyone with whatever answer you get.

That isn’t different at all. The general response you got is, magnetic reversals happen, and it isn’t dependent on whether you believe it or not.

The three earlier FR topics linked above show the basis for this particular one, which is the ‘fossil’ magnetic field direction in some 41-42K year old dead trees in NZ. Instead of just generating chaff, your time would have been better spent reading up instead of complaining. But clearly that’s your jam, because you have no interest in this topic.
