The greatest proof and evidence of God is this. A changed life. A former hit man, killer, Mafia underboss. And he's gonna be in heaven. Amazing Grace....amazing.

Facing the ultimate prison....

They all wake up and realize how terrible they had been. Most of them.

Good for him. In Catholic Church teaching my understanding is there’ll be som considerable time and reparations in purgatory in a case like this

Fr Groeschel said that, yes, even a mafia hit man can confess and convert in confession if he has time in the end and makes a good confession to a priest in the sacrament

He knew of some such cases. He was from jersey city.

He added that of course he did not recommend this manner of conversion, recommending a life of conversion - now I’m paraphrasing hi- and not taking a chance on not having time for confession before a sudden death

He’s still a murdering scumbag that belongs in hell. Some sins can’t be washed away. Shouldn’t be.

David berkowitz, (th3 son of sam mass murderer) is also saved and leads bible studies in prison and has been able to lead others to christ too. He fully acknowledged that his punishment shou,d be death, butsince they won’t put him to death he has decided to give his time to the lord in prison. He knows he’s never getting out, and doesn’t want to. God can reach even hardened mass murderers. Carla fay tucker was another who accepted christ- she was put to death, but went in peace- quite the radical change from when she was first arrested and imprisoned- like night and day change. I beleive even Jeffrey Dahmer who was beaten to death I. Prison might have gotten saved before his death. Though he was a weird one- he did do a video begging people not to get caught up in porn like he did- he spoke about how it fueled his inner demons until it became an obsession with him- and he eventually stepped over the line because porn

Pluto TV is now streaming Coda The Death of Michael Corleone which is the re-edit of The Godfather III.

Although Michael did confess his sins including having Fredo killed, whether his confession was a genuine effort to seek redemption as purported here by Sammy can be debated.

His sister Connie chided Michael when he revealed his confession to her.

I read that as he was looking for support to further seek a path of redemption and was rebuffed.

The end of the re-edit as noted by Coppola in the introduction was different than the original.

In my view, the ending was more ambiguous.

I saw the original Godfather III multiple times and this was my first viewing of the re-edit.

I always thought The Godfather III was underrated.

Jay Cocks, a critic for Time Magazine back in the day called the first two Godfathers an unparalleled blend of art and commerce.

Godfather III may not have been of the same rank as the first two, but considered on its own was still an exceptional film.

I listened to Sammy the Bull’s podcast recently. He’s a fantastic storyteller. I wish God’s abundant mercy for him and for all.

This guy is a murderer in the first-degree, several times over. He belongs in Hell.

I don’t think God says repent and all is forgiven. That’s the Catholic church that says that.

You still have to answer to God for your sins.

You don’t get to lead a life of sin then repent on the last day for entrance into heaven. If that were the case then there is no need in being good, just do what you want and repent at the end.

And he's gonna be in heaven.

And he'll join the 19 others he helped send there.

He's proof that even God can have poor judgement.

Redemption/salvation from sins is by Grace by profession of faith in what Christ did to purchase our pardon and pay our eternal punishment for sin and all sin we do. Sammy was very fortunate he accepted The Lords's offer and had a last opportunity to do so and wisely did so. It is not wise to gamble and say to ones self I'll accept Christ before I die. You may not have that chance.

Folks in the Justice of sin a lie is as bad as murder. You break one commandment you stand guilty for breaking them all and stand condemned to hell unless you accept Christ and repent.

Only GOD knows if his profession of faith and acceptance of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior is/was genuine. If so then yes he met the requirements of salvation.

Now, this however does not pardon or relieve him of the earthly consequences of his actions. Jesus Christ can and will remove sin and desire to sin when we pass from here into the next world as sin will not enter heaven.

Over half the New Testament was written by a man who hunted down Christians and either had them killed or placed in prison. Jesus had other plans for him {Paul}. The Bible recognizes and separates Biblical sin and it's required punishment and the punishment of the governing authorities. Two thieves were hung beside Jesus. One repented and accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior the other did not. They both suffered the penalty of earthly punishment. We who believe are offered Grace for past, present, and future sins, until we are dead. But we also still live under government. What I am saying is this. Jesus pardoned the repenting thief but the Roman law condemning him for his crime stood.
