I thought the surname might be Slovenian so I checked with Geni Surnames and there are people by that name in Slovenian church records.

There was one Edward Miklavcic (not the living Pearl Harbor survivor) and Geni told me I was connected to him.

More exactly, that person was my first cousin's husband's first cousin once removed's wife's great-uncle's wife's niece's husband's sister's third great-niece's husband's first cousin once removed's husband's first cousin.

I can believe that since my first cousin's husband was part Slovenian.
