The hatred of Pam Bondi here is sickening. Trump chose her so how about you give her and him a chance?

How does one get convictions from the DC jury pool? If she doesn't, then the Rats will learn to ignore the arrests and hold them as a badge of honor.
I don’t get it either. People here keep saying she doesn’t do anything. And she spends all her time on Fox News.
Sometimes I wish we had polls or surveys on Free Republic. It would be interesting to know what percentage of people here really despise her. It might just be a few malcontents who post a lot.
The attitude toward Bondi is far from being just from FReepers. Many people, MAGA people are not thrilled that she has been tame so far. They think that a very aggressive prosecution and removal needs to happen to counter the deep state players still operating out in the open with no fear. Those players need to be worried and busy spending money on attorneys and attending court dates.
There is a lot of swamp draining to be done before midterms. Time is flying by.
I am not crazy about her so far, but not much we can do and we hope she will surprise the bad guys really soon.
You talk about a narrative. It isn’t a narrative. It is more of an observation of her performance overall.
People have a right to their opinion and criticism is sometimes a good thing because it means people are watching.
When she recuses herself then I will buy into the narrative she isn’t doing anything. The Dems are throwing everything in her way with out of control judges making her job a hundred times harder.
Either you are on the train or not. We don’t have time for whiners who are like 4 year olds asking if we are there yet.

I would add a point about Bondi’s performance: anyone coming in to that pit of vipers (the DOJ upper management) has to work out who to keep and who to get rid of and ALWAYS having to worry that there are saboteurs within your own departments. Deep State operators simply don’t go away. Every step Bondi takes has to be carefully compartmentalized within the cadre of absolutely trustworthy people.
If I were in her position, one of my top priorities would be to figure out how to decontaminate that place to where it is running efficiently and apolitically.
Having said all that, one thing that will help flush out people is actual handcuffs and frog marches.
The bulk of the crimes we see were committed there. Any claim or referral from without would have to establish standing to make a claim.
PS. Has a single criminal charge been referred by Congress (from Jordan, Comer, Issa, etc.) to DOJ that has resulted in even one indictment? I’m getting flashbacks of Trey Gowdy’s brilliant but utterly fruitless investigations that went absolutely nowhere.

I get the impression there is a type of FReeper who longs for the days of Jeff Sessions’ failure when they enjoyed saying “told ya so” so much.
Saying “told ya so” to those of us who held out hope for Sessions a little too long - that was the high point of their lives. Now they are always hoping for another failure so they can relive their glory days and tell us all “told ya so”.

Agree. They think that you simply file charges and go from there.
File charges without building a solid case and it becomes a weak charge and case.
But, i will agree that she needs to keep her cute little face off from the TV a bit more and get her self to work. She has a whole lotta house cleaning to do in that dept.
They act like you can just do whatever you want after these forts have been built and reinforced for decades. Trump’s job is to knock down the walls which does not happen overnight.
