There's one inert, common, recyclable beverage container that was popular when I was a kid that has never caused any health problems with anybody. As a kid, I used to make a fair amount of coin picking these up at construction sites and taking them in for the 2ยข deposit.

Another neat thing about them they had the state the were bottled at as a teen the tribe went into the store for one the person who drew the nearest star had to buy the round.
