Blue Origin's New Shepard rocket has just taken an all-female crew of celebrity astronauts to space in a history-making event not seen in 60 years.

Jeff Bezos's fiancée, Lauren Sánchez, and popstar Katy Perry headlined a crew of six noteworthy women who blasted off from West Texas Monday morning on a nail-biting 11-minute suborbital flight during which the crew could be heard screaming on the broadcast.

The New Shepard rocket only took its famous passengers beyond the threshold of Earth's atmosphere and into space for roughly three minutes before returning home safely.

She thinks she is slim like a willow
She’s just skinny and bony and tall
If she hadn’t been blessed with two warts on her chest
She’d have no figure at all

this is nothing but a PR stunt.

Blue Origin is a joke.

Founded in 2000, and only just this year FINALLY managed an orbital flight.

SpaceX by comparison was founded in 2002 and launched its first orbital flight in 2008.

11 minute sub orbital flight, this isn’t even noteworthy on any level, other than its a glorified tourist flight.

Only real difference between this and had they got on a helicopter for a 15 minute grand canyon tour is that this went higher on a rocket.. that’s it.

Fact the press is making a bigger deal over this than Elon getting the astronauts home tells you all you need to know about the news.

Russians and American pilots in winged craft went this high half a century ago

One seventh ceiling of Elon minimal orbits

10 minutes of low gravity

It’ll be fun but it’s a gimmick CBS is milking

One of the women passengers screamed out “oh, my goddess!” when they saw the moon. Slightly nausea inducing.

into space for roughly three minutes

So after unbuckling they floated for a minute or so before having to return to their seats. So was this really worth it?

Filthy rich, with big breasts and knowing the right people or decades of dedication to science to become an astronaut. The degradation of the people who work hard to to be successful continues.

At least they can say “I didn’t just play an astronaut in the movies or on TV, I actually went into outer space.”

They also can say, as elites, they all voted for Hillary and Kamala, proving to themselves they don’t have to be intelligent to be astronauts . . .

They’re told to scream and overact

Nah, these people don't need to be told. That's why they get hired.

We can make fun of them and all, but I still think it would be bad ass to get to go up in a rocket like that...
