This story could almost be someone I knew.

He was the victim of one of these gearhead dads that conflates his personal manliness with motor sizes/custom mods.

Long story short, moron dad dares son to go bait some cops on the highway “because theyll never catch you.” Apparently they never heard of police radio.

At one point they had him just short of 200. They couldnt catch him but after a while they also had too many and he found an exit he wasnt familiar with. He accelerated again to get away but once you get off the highway this is farm country. The inevitable patch of pea gravel dropped the bike out from under him and fortunately for him he flew off the raised road into a boggy swamp. A tree caught him before he got out too deep for the ambulance crew to expeditiously retrieve him.

Fortunately he was near one of our areas more advanced hospitals and the surgeon managed to get most of his shit for brains shoveled back in.

Extremely manly, a bit more than a vegetable but, hes a very manly vegetable.
