This looks like winner for the SC taxpayers. This must be less expensive than the electric chair and other methods (injections) that bring lawsuits and controversy. So let him have his gourmet final meal. He earned it by choosing the firing squad.

This guy got in a lot of trouble. Killed someone in a drug deal in Virginia, then killed someone in North Carolina, then killed a policeman who stopped him in South Carolina. Pled guilty. Virginia didn’t try him because they figured he would be executed in North or South Carolina.

A heart shot is not instantly fatal. Only a brain shot can do that but a brain shot is likely to be messy in a way the public will not accept, unless the head is pre-wrapped in bandages to prevent splatter.
