This used to be a fad in Dublin, Ireland maybe thirty years ago. People would keep horses in sheds and ride them around town.

When I first went to Az to set up the property where we were moving to I hit a Del Taco drive through right in downtown. Gave my order and pulled around to the pick up window, as I came around the corner there were two Equestrians on horses ahead of me at the drive through pick up window. Not unusual at all in Az. :)

Wasnt just a fad. It was a way of life. I spent a week in Shannon back in the late eigthies (with a cute Irish lass) and the coal for the home heater/stove was delivered daily by horse and cart. In the morning silence and fog, you could hear the hooves clopping on the cobblestone road from the bedroom...
