I will maintain that if a person wants to protect himself, just brandishing a knife might’ve been enough. If it didn’t stop, he could have slashed an arm or leg. This kid went for the heart. That to me means he intended to kill the other teen, not just defend himself.
No. The assailant left the tent earlier after being discovered and thrown out by the track team. Then he returned.
He is claiming “self-defense” (against being man-handled) to excuse pulling out the knife he left to go set, then stabbing the track team members. He CANNOT claim “he was in fear for his life”
Please be warned, what FamiliarFace is thinking here would be tantamount to admitting that you did not feel lethal force was justified. When it becomes known that you intended to slash the arm so as not to kill, your claim of self-defense will fail. Someone with legal expertise please correct me with my thanks. Please study and understand the laws of self-defense and lethal force in your state. FamiliarFace is NOT an attorney. Your posts on social media will be consulted, quoted, and used against you in court should the opportunity arise.
I agree with FF that murder was the intent, and that his bullying claim has no foundation. I believe FamiliarFace to be a reputable FReeper, to be appreciated and regarded.
