That Samuel Jackson hairdo is at least an improvement on Zegler’s.
Back during the Golden Age of Hollywood, when big studios had stables full of actors and actresses UNDER CONTRACTS, they kept tight rein on them.
Actors were not allowed to make public statements of any kind unless it was approved by the studio PR people. No publicity stunts that were not scripted down to the finest details. Absolutely no political activity in public.
Sam Goldwyn knew that as soon as an actor made any public political statement, HALF THE AUDIENCE WOULD BE GONE ALONG WITH THEIR MONEY..................
"Off White and the Seven Pronouns" was the best one I've heard so far.
I believe the studio “sat” on a delayed release for a long time, hoping audiences would forget about the repeated, toxic public remarks of its biracial lead actor and activist. To no avail, and she went out and repeated some of her hateful statements.
Could be she was told to clam up but being
a radical feminazi, decided to do it her way.
DISNEY MANAGER-1: "Let's Hire Self-Hating WOKE Whites And Racist Minorities With Chips On Their Shoulders And Hearts Full Of Hate To Make Our Movies."
DISNEY MANAGER-2: "Great Idea - What Could Possibly Go Wrong?"
Actors are basically paid by the job nowadays. Once filming and post production is over and the film released they can say or do whatever they want............That is a big mistake, financially.............Hollywood might actually return to the old ways after this fiasco.............
I don’t know what all the comments are about mixed race and not so white, etc. The original Snow White in the cartoon had black hair. This Rachel actress has black hair, big deal. She is not obviously mixed anything. She has black hair, big deal. I watched the trailers for this movie and the movie looked ok. The costume for Snow White is obviously adapted from the original cartoon. I did not watch the whole movie so I don’t know why it is bombing. But other than the Rachel actress has a big nasty mouth, she was not obviously a miscast, and people ought to quit saying so because that part is just plain not so.
I disagree, when I watched a few minutes of it I was surprised at how jarring it was to see her as the whitest of white 1500s German Princess being saved by a handsome prince.
While Zegler is attractive in regular life, in the context of Snow White her features looked a little coarse and she looked Mexican, which was jarring and weird for this movie and old Europe fantasy, by the way, there is no Prince in her movie.
Disney continues to insist on making DEI and woke crappola.
Disney can kiss my rear.
Ain’t no way me or my grand babies will do any damn thing Disney.
Go woke.
f-you, go broke.
Tip to young women... your college politics are not popular in the real world.
Without USAID the Worldwide LGBT Movement is dead.
Disney’s political-soft-porn is nor popular.
Well a German princess should be blond and pudgy, dancing a polka and wearing braids by the standards everybody is using. I just looked up the plot and having a Robin hood as the male star is stupid. So no wonder the movie is a bomb.
German women are good looking and the princess has black hair and pure white skin, this princess looks Hispanic and while doable, she does not amaze with beauty and vie as the most beautiful woman in the Kingdom against a beautiful Queen, in fact, in this movie the Queen is prettier than the Hispanic girl.
They should have given the lead to AOC.
I do agree the Queen is just as pretty or prettier than Snow White.
Call it “Snow light brown and the 7 gay little people”
"THAT'S OUR HITLER!"
People go to this flic to cheer for the evil queen.
It's her crappy personality and her horrible attitude that are the problem.
And it goes way past the polarizing, hyper partisan, woke political views that she spots given any opportunity.
Check out her highly affected , rapper style strutting at the Oscar presentations to get a taste of what she is all about.
I doubt that will help much. Disney will release it on its own streaming service. I doubt anyone will subscribe to Disney + just to watch Snow White.
