Lady Gaga performed a sketch on this weekend’s episode of Saturday Night Live where she summons a demon—and now, some people on the internet are stocking up on holy water and crosses, convinced the devil is among us.
Over the weekend, Lady Gaga pulled double duty as both host and musical guest for the latest episode of SNL, delivering a series of sketches and two songs from her new album Mayhem. For most (cough normal viewers), the episode was pretty standard SNL fare—Gaga had a great music set, along with some good and not-so-good sketches.
However, after the cast performed the “Birthday at Friendly’s” sketch, where a lie to get a free birthday sundae at the restaurant sparks a satanic ritual led by Gaga, people on X began to fear for their souls, convinced SNL just unleashed the devil on them.
“LADY GAGA PERFORMED A SATANIC RITUAL ON SNL…THIS IS ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING…THESE PEOPLE ARE SICK,” one user wrote, clearly scandalized by the skit.
“Pure evil. Satan is real folks,” another user chimed in.
Some people even tried to warn others to avoid the episode, writing: “Don’t even watch this. Or, if you insist, pray before watching it. They’re literally casting dark spells on the audience.”
As soon as Gaga and SNL fans caught wind of the devil worship panic happening on the platform, they instantly began to troll the “true believers.”

She summoned a demon? Did it show up on camera? Was it any good at delivering it’s lines?
Did it do the stupid bow at the end of the show?
No matter how many times it how capitalized the letters are, “Satan is real” is mostly pre or post cursed by the non appearance or non evidence of Satan.
You can’t believe there is a Devil unless you believe their is a God options must be chosen wisely.

Why do people love this show so much? Every Sunday, this show is so popular on here. I haven’t really watched since I was 25 when the stupid show was sorta funny 30 years ago.

Simple solution, turn off SNL and stop buying Lady Gag Gag. I’ve managed just fine without that garbage for 50 years.

Yeah. She really didn’t hold back when it came to summoning Hell. I watched all of the episodes and hearing thru adult ears was shocking. Was my mother ever even in the house when all of this satanic howling was going on?
Gutfeld reading his jokes is cringe worthy. It makes it less funny.
One of the earliest and most aggressive of the Hollywood image changes for evil was the empowering of vampires inside holy ground and in ignoring the cross, now a vampire can literally walk inside a church and stab the priest with his own cross.
Christianity is often portrayed by Hollywood as merely a narrow and impotent tradition of some of the less sophisticated and outdated, with no real standing in the battle between good and evil.
