An Ohio substitute teacher was busted for allegedly offering a high school student $2,000 to kill her estranged husband in a bizarre murder-for-hire plot – that was foiled by the teen’s mother.
Stephanie Demetrius, 44, was arrested Wednesday on first-degree conspiracy after the student’s mom discovered texts between her son and the sub at Academy for Urban Scholars High School discussing the lethal plan and contacted the police, according to court documents obtained by WSYX.
“This particular teacher was attempting to groom this young person into committing murder,” Sgt. James Fuqua, with the Columbus Division of Police, told the outlet.
“Without their help, some of this might not have come to light. This was a situation where a parent was able to capture things inside this young person’s phone and contact authorities.”

People are way too comfortable with their phones. How many murders are solved because the suspect claims to have been at home, yet his cellphone was 25 miles away deep in the woods at the site where the body was found...
Yes, the parent in this case prevented whatever was afoot and good on her, but obviously her son was going to go through with it because he asked this loser of a substitute teacher, “Won’t people hear the gunfire?”

8 Jesus replied, “Moses permitted you to divorce your wives because your hearts were hard. But it was not this way from the beginning. 9 I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another woman commits adultery.”
The Apostle Paul taught this in Corinthians 7:13 - 15:
13 If any woman has a husband who is an unbeliever, and he consents to live with her, she should not divorce him.
14 For the unbelieving husband is made holy because of his wife, and the unbelieving wife is made holy because of her husband. Otherwise your children would be unclean, but as it is, they are holy.
15 But if the unbelieving partner separates, let it be so. In such cases the brother or sister is not enslaved. God has called youb to peace.
There are your two (and only two) biblical reasons for divorce according to Scripture.
The Pauline privilege is a special case, in which no sacramental marriage was existing. As for your supposed loophole for adultery, you will have to reconcile it with Mark 10; Luke 16; and 1 Corinthians 7 where Paul allows an unfaithful wife to be put away, but with no warrant to remarry.
I was not and am not addressing the issue of remarriage. In fact, I refrained from stating an opinion for or against. I simply shared relevant passages on the matter of divorce. You may do with them what you will.
