She needed a good smacking right in the chops. Geesh what a loon.
I've seen an old interview clip with Barbara Walters and Sean Connery. Barbara was trying to stir up "a little controversy" and read an old quote from Sean about how sometimes a woman needs a good smack. Barbara then set Sean up for the requisite "apology" where he could say that he has learned a lot and no longer feels that way.
But Sean wasn't playing that game. He repeated that sometimes a woman does need a good smack. Barbara seemed stunned and asked Connery to explain how such a thing could ever be justified.
Connery explained that, if one is having an argument with a woman, and decide that she is right, then one should apologize. You tell the woman that she was truly correct. You surrender, if you are wrong. You give the woman everything possible, because, in this particular incident, she is right, and you are wrong, and you tell her that, and you apologize. AND if she STILL screams at you and will NOT let it go -- you smack her in the chops. Because she deserves it .
Barbara moved on to a new topic.
