USA TODAY article updated 4:20pm on April 2, Flooding anticipated in the Ohio Valley area:

Heaviest rain through Sunday

"The epicenter of the rain and floods should be in the mid-South:

"By Thursday, "there is a 'high risk' for excessive rainfall for western Kentucky, the Missouri Bootheel, northwestern Tennessee, and extreme northeastern Arkansas where widespread, life-threatening flash flooding is expected," the weather service said."

Latest update from NWS:

The forecast rain total 10-15" area is now a bit south of us, but does not include most of Round 1. It was raining there almost all morning.

We have 3 more days of "in the yellow" severe weather risk. Full info. for the region from NWS Paducah, through Saturday night, here:

We are still having a series of non-severe but very loud / keep waking me up t-storms. The degree of focus of the “training” effect is remarkable. Luckily, no one strong cell stays over us for long, but, our east yard is a lake. Also luckily, it slopes away from the house slightly.
