Hopefully, the rest of the people who were set to be fired but were given promotions at the NSC under Waltz also depart.

My son-in-law’s, brother, and wife, left everthing to start a home from scratch, in Kenya, Africa for abandoned and abused children. They now have well over 200. This is the first year that an actual house was built for them to live in. For over 14 yrs they have lived in one room.
Today she posted this. “People often ask me if Kenya is now home to me. This little story explains it well.”
“There once was a man from the land of yellow.
Everything around him was yellow—
the trees, the houses, even the food.
And so was he.
One day, God whispered to his heart:
“Go to the land of blue. Tell them about Me.”
So he packed up his life and left.
But when he arrived in the land of blue,
everything was different.
He looked different.
He sounded different.
He felt out of place.
Still, he stayed.
Not to fit in—

Yes, and no. I feel very much at home here in Papua. I feel very much at home in Alabama. When I arrive here after being away, I’m greeted by more national friends than I do the ex-pats. When I arrive home in Alabama, I am greeted by family and friends I have known since elementary school.

You can’t make this up.
The agency with “peace” in its name had weapons inside its headquarters, blew taxpayer money on private jets, and even paid a former Taliban member $130,000.
A DOGE staffer broke it down:
“United States Institute of Peace. It was definitely the agency we had the most fight at.”
“We went into the agency and found they had loaded guns inside of their headquarters. Institute for Peace.”
Musk summed it up perfectly:

Many of our allies and friends are celebrating May 8th as Victory Day, but we did more than any other Country, by far, in producing a victorious result on World War II. I am hereby renaming May 8th as Victory Day for World War II and November 11th as Victory Day for World War I. We won both Wars, nobody was close to us in terms of strength, bravery, or military brilliance, but we never celebrate anything — That’s because we don’t have leaders anymore, that know how to do so! We are going to start celebrating our victories again!

I am asking for immediate prayers for a friend of mine. The person has been admitted to the hospital for PTSD and will likely be placed in the psychiatric ward. This is an extreme situation.
Good on him! We do need to be reminded that the US, fundamentally, is a force for good in the world.
I will pray for him/her, Jemian!
