I was a Rush listener for decades. But now in retrospect I think he did more harm than good.

I totally agree with you on that. He kept a lid on so much stuff that was simmering under the surface. He would have melted down hearing all the Q “conspiracies” and would have called it all nonsense. I really started questioning him when he made fun of the “birthers.” I’ve been working in graphics for decades and I downloaded that birth certificate—it was faker than fake and it only took a couple of clicks to figure it out—and there he was with his golden microphone telling us we were full of it, or even worse, just refusing to talk about it.
