DOJ is a big agency, a flotilla of large ships, not a bunch of zippy jet skis that scoot around the harbor at 60 MPH.
People expect instant results, but DOJ Staff was working on things before she took over, valid investigations and prosecutions, but not Trump administration priorities. You don’t ignore the work your staff has already done and throw those things and the work that has been done in the trashcan. What is becoming public right now was already in the pipeline.
What is going to happen is that the Deep State and Ds are going to try and overwhelm DOJ with distractions. If you do not respond to a Lawsuit, even a BS lawsuit, you risk a default judgement in favor of the plaintiff. They are going to file as many as possible to keep them busy.
I do not see Sessions here.
