I was watching different productoins of “A Stretcar Names Desire”

No one is ever gonna touch Brando.

But in most of the college or off broaday productions...Staneley Kowalski, or however you spell it, is black.

I never knew there were so many black Polish people :)

At least the other roles where the white guy was replaced, his name wasn’t so very obviously non black.

Now they want James Bond to be black or a woman.

I’d choose black before a woman.

I’d choose a straight white guy above all of them

I think they could have pulled it off with Idris Elba...20 years ago.

He's too old now.

Just my two cents.

I’ll stick with the white male. If I have to decide between a movie with a male hero or a female hero, I choose the male. Maybe it’s because I am a female, but I don’t find it realistic to see a slim female overpowering husky bad dudes.

“I’d choose black before a woman.”

Why not just choose British white, which is how the whole thing was created and has traditionally always been?

What is next afterward, the obligatory Muslim?

Which other country subs in a white man for starring movie roles? China, Iran, Kenya??
