President Donald Trump said he was “very angry” and “pissed off” when Russian President Vladimir Putin criticized the credibility of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s leadership, adding that the comments were “not going in the right location.”
Agence France-Presse reported that Putin on Friday called for a transitional government to be put in place in Ukraine, which could effectively push out Zelenskyy.
“If Russia and I are unable to make a deal on stopping the bloodshed in Ukraine, and if I think it was Russia’s fault — which it might not be — but if I think it was Russia’s fault, I am going to put secondary tariffs on oil, on all oil coming out of Russia,” Trump said in an early-morning phone call with NBC News on Sunday.
“That would be that if you buy oil from Russia, you can’t do business in the United States,” Trump said. “There will be a 25% tariff on all oil, a 25- to 50-point tariff on all oil.”

Is anybody else starting???
No, he was always going to bomb Iran.
Foregone conclusion. He is not starting a new war. He is finishing an old one, to eliminate the potential for much much bigger problems.
Foregone conclusion.
probably less than 90 days from now... unless he lets Israel off the chain. the saudi’s can make a call to israel... and Trumps permission will not even be needed.
“Perhaps. But the war will take another 10 years.”
There is going to be a gap where American weapons were promised to Ukraine, but they haven’t gotten their yet. That is the time when Putin will strike. Or, he can just bide his time, win minor skirmishes and wait for the next rat president before taking the rest of Ukraine.
Ukraine agreed to hold Presidential elections after the Easter ceasefire is in place in their negotiations with President Trump.
Putin’s latest nonsense about UN administration of Ukraine and inviting the BRICS craphole countries to the ceasefire negotiations was Putin’s desperation to backtrack on Ukrainian election and screws up President Trump’s plan for peace.
In sum: Trump is very angry that Putin is not who Trump pretended he was.
Putin reneged on the deal with President Trump on Ukrainian elections.
Right. Putin, who is winning the war by about 10 touchdowns, better listen to Trump whose country is losing the war, along with Ukraine, by about 10 touchdowns. Or else.
This is the war the US was determined to have and the war where the US would not permit Ukraine to settle for peace in 2022, so, the US is losing the war and had better just learn to deal with it. Russia will win and the more time that passes till the surrender the more land Russia wins.
I totally support Trump, except when he says the intentionally really stupid stuff, like giving orders to Putin. And bragging about how great the vaccine is. And talking about Canada as a new county in the US. And Greenland.
Yes, more war and more US tax dollars because once you go bankrupt it doesn’t matter how deep the bankruptcy is.
Good analogy...Putin knows what the score is and how much time is left on the clock.
“Trump putting aside his showman persona and showing his teeth to Putin?
I have been waiting for this to happen.”
Trump is on the LOSING SIDE. He doesn’t get to dictate the terms.
TIME TO WASH OUR HANDS OF THE WHOLE THING!

If he’s pissed off now, wait until Putin gets serious.
Putin is preparing for a spring and summer offensive so the Easter ceasefire and then Ukrainian elections in July screws up his grand plan.
An examination of the data says S. Korea has in storage about 3.5 million unguided / conventional artillery shells of its own. This is after having provided 500,000 such to the US on a loan agreement for transfer to Ukraine in 2023. No doubt consumed by now.
Of the 3.5 million, about 200 are guided. They are nearly all of the old, unguided types. S. Korea has other artillery shells that they self-manufactured and are modern and guided, but do not conform to 105mm and 155mm NATO standards for the cannons themselves.
Not an artillery expert. That’s all from AI’s web search much faster than I could.
So much for those here trying to say Trump is “too chummy” with Putin....
