My doctor would like me to weigh 165. I'm 5 ft 11 in and 146.7 this morning. It's a challenge daily to hold my weight after the Whipple procedure. I bottomed out at 136.4 and had an NJ tube to feed 1800 calories per day to supplement what ever I could hold down. I reached 152 in late December and pulled the tube. The pump was shipped back to the provider. If I eat at least 2000 calories, I can hold even. I failed in that last week. Average daily intake of 1000 calories while burning off 1700 daily.
Whipple procedure
Oh, my. I have a family friends who had that procedure done when it was a fairly new procedure. I am so sorry you had to experience that.
She is still pretty young. She helped care for my father when he was in his 90’s. (several of her sisters helped him)
