I liked “MacArthur Park” when it first came out. When it hit the charts in the spring of 1968, General Douglas MacArthur, the park’s namesake, was one of my heroes, especially at a time when our political and military leaders were so inept. Being a Southern Californian, I also liked the fact that the song was about Los Angeles. And I still like the song.

Actually I meant to write Rubber Soul and Revolver. Abbey Road was good...but not as good as the other two.
How about “Keep Feeling Fascination” by the Human League? That high-pitched wailing drives me crazy.

I think The Allman Brothers Live at the Fillmore East is one of the greatest albums of all time.

I’m not a huge fan of that album but I must say that the first 3 or 4 minutes of “In Memory Of Elizabeth Reed” is about as good as it ever gets!
