BOSTON – A former Stoughton Water Department employee pleaded guilty today to tampering with the Stoughton drinking water supply.

Robert J. Bullock, Sr., 60, of Brockton, pleaded guilty to one count of tampering with a water system. U.S. District Court Judge Denise J. Casper scheduled sentencing for June 25, 2025. Bullock was indicted by a federal grand jury on March 5, 2024, Bullock.

According to the charging documents, Bullock is a former employee of the Water Department in Stoughton. On the evening of Nov. 29, 2022, Bullock went into one of the Water Department’s pumping stations and turned off the pump that introduces chlorine into drinking water. As a result, insufficiently disinfected water was introduced into the drinking water system.

The charge of tampering with a water system provides for a sentence of up to 20 years in prison, three years of supervised release and a fine of $250,000. Sentences are imposed by a federal district court judge based upon the U.S. Sentencing Guidelines and statutes which govern the determination of a sentence in a criminal case.

Okay, I actually clicked on and read the article.
Any idea WHY this guy decided to do this?
Did he join the Alu Ackbar cult?

Or, was he just bored and want to see if he could make everyone in Stouton, MA sick because of bad water?

He turned off the chlorine pump and disabled the corresponding warning sensor. But I would be even more concerned about what he may have introduced into the drinking water.

Regards,

I’ve met several people over the years who see treated water as a conspiracy. Some of them were of the chemtrail ilk and some were just against any government mandated policy like smallpox vaccines and the like given to school children. Treated water has been going on for probably a hundred years. If there are any ill effects, we’d probably know...unless it’s turning people trans...hey. Makes you wonder...

Here is another article about his sentencing:

https://www.boston.com/news/crime/2025/03/27/former-stoughton-water-employee-faces-up-to-20-years-for-tampering-with-towns-drinking-water/

It states that there was no known reason WHY he did it.
Just that he did. He pleaded guilty to it.
He also lied to investigators.

“It remains unclear why he tampered with Stoughton’s water.”

From the article I posted a link to.

Maybe he went out drinking for lunch and it seemed like the thing to do at the time. Kinda like a “hold my beer” moment.

Thought from the headline that maybe he turned off the fluoride.
That would have been a public service.
