1. Bought something recommended by Consumer Reports - first mistake.
2. Didn’t buy a commercial dishwasher instead of a consumer one. They do make them in sizes that fit in most houses’ dishwasher slots and hook up just the same - only they are much higher quality, much better duty cycles and *not* internet connected.
Same thing applies to washer/driers. The only names to buy there are the Speed Queen offerings and rebrands of same.
My apartment building managers upgraded the old Speed Queen washer and dryer to new ones. The new washing machine has been nothing but trouble. It has crapped out like 3 times in the last 6 months and they had to put the old one back in while the new one was repaired.
