looked at one at Costco last night. was debating it for the price.
I got mine for more than half price half off, I believe. I would buy it again. Our refrigerator was broken and our stove was acting up in sympathy I think and our dishwasher hadn’t worked in a few months. Hubby went to a ding and dent warehouse and bought the refridge, stove, microwave and the guy sold him the dishwasher. Stainless steel inside, but after 4 years everything works wonderfully except the microwave which blew its fuse, we replaced it and it quickly blew again. A group of local teens who take apart things to repair and learn a skill replaced the fuse. No charge.
I swore I would never buy another Bosch product, and I haven’t.
I paid $600 for that pos 20 years ago.
I own one. Worst dishwasher I’ve ever owned. My first year owning it will be up soon - and I’m already sick of calling the arrogant ‘repair’ people. They all act like French waiters - putting up their noses if you order the wrong ‘starter’.
I had an electrician move the outlet so it would be easier to reach to ‘reset’ ...(one idiot said if you left it unplugged for 8 minutes the program would clear) and that doesn’t even work half the time. One repairman downloaded ‘new’ software then said to ‘stay with the same cycle’ and not to open the door to add anything if the machine was running. I got told the crap about running the dishwasher from my cellphone. I asked the guy why would I want to do that? He didn’t have an answer. Now I know - it might work if you do that... All I can say is don’t buy this machine
Our twenty year old Whirlpool is making odd noises and about to give up the ghost. We are looking at a Bosch 100 series, those and the 800 series get good reviews. We are leaning toward the 100 and don’t care a flip about online connectivity.
