Of course Russia wants to wait until the finally manage to push Ukraine off of Russian soil. Having to negotiate to get Kerch back is much harder for Russia than if that’s off the table!

Putin’s personality is that he likes to do his mass murders and other bullying tactics if it means he can have more power & control for himself. It’s so sad that in 2025 that he has the most powerful nuclear weapons arsenal in the world.
