Neve much cared for it.
I like the old Sci-fi stuff, Heinlein, Clark, Asimov, Herbert, Silverberg, etc.
I’ve read some of the newer writers and they all seem to be carbon copies of each other, like Star Wars movies, which I hate.
Every novel, series, or trilogy is the same: Man and love interest fight against evil galactic or intergalactic empire, whether it be a dynasty or a corporation, sometimes both (Battlefield Earth, comes to mind).
And I don’t bother to read any fantasy novels with dragons and elves or anything that contains ‘magic’. No Tolkien clones..............
