One of my best friends found her husband at age 45. Neither of them had been married before. They are meant for each other. I think it’s been about 20 years for them. They are a cute and loving couple.

You just never know when the right one will be there.

At least, not happening here. Am I disappointed, yeah, because i’d be a great grandfather. At best, i am a distant surrogate uncle. It is what it is. My favorite grandson is Scotch.

...but she picked "loser candidates for a decade" until she settled for "the nice guy" at 32.

My middle son made a poor choice in 2011. Divorced. He has a girlfriend. Older. Won't be producing offspring. I simply won't have the grandpa experience. I'll be 69 this year.
