After a handful of underwhelming relationships and dozens of disappointing first dates, Andrea Vorlicek recently called off the search for a husband.
The 29-year-old always thought she’d have found her life partner by now. Instead, she’s house hunting solo and considering having kids on her own.
“I’m financially self-sufficient enough to do these things myself,” said Vorlicek, a Boston-based accountant. “I’m willing to accept being single versus settling for someone who isn’t the right fit.”
She sees her plans for an independent future as making the best of a lousy situation. “I don’t want to sit here and say I’m 100% happy,” Vorlicek said. “But I feel happier just accepting my reality. It’s mentally and emotionally a sense of peace.”
American women have never been this resigned to staying single. They are responding to major demographic shifts, including huge and growing gender gaps in economic and educational attainment, political affiliation and beliefs about what a family should look like.
“The numbers aren’t netting out,” said Daniel Cox, director of the survey center at the American Enterprise Institute (AEI), a conservative think tank. He ticked off the data points: More women than men are attending college, buying houses and focusing on their friendships and careers over dating and marriage.

There are a lot of women who bow to group think.
They are obsessed with making choices that entirely (or mostly) rely upon the approval of their group.
They get approval for piercing their bodies and stitching wires through themselves. Same with tatoos that mask the female’s beauty.
They only see through the lens of their group-think.

Men would make p,entry of money in the trades, really good trades people are very hard to find!! It is also a very good way to start your own business!! I don’t know why in the hell these kids waste their money on college!! Walmart pays their truck drivers 100K a year to start AND pays for the trucking school!! What are these kids even thinking??? A really good HVAC guy makes major money HELL a really great handyman would make bank, most people can’t fix things anymore and are always looking for someone to call!!

If it's a hook-up with Chad, she'll be "down" to engage in hot, sweaty monkey sex that same evening.

Probably 10-15 years ago, a guy I knew who owned his own auto shop told me that anyone who was willing to go into the trades could easily earn 6 figures/year because there was that much of a shortage of skilled tradesmen.
And much of what’s wrong with this country it NOT women’s fault. The abandonment of God, the public education system, the breakdown of the family, the media, lack of fathers in a household, the welfare state, the emphasis on college education being the be all and end all of existence and *guarantee* of a good paying job, and the DEI quota system have all worked to destroy this country.
Traditional roles and families have been under active attack for decades by those who wish to destroy this country and perhaps their biggest success, reading and reflecting on this thread, is convincing each side that the other one is responsible for the mess and pitting them against each other.

The nature of men is to do as much work as required for their goals. The system made any real goal reaching for males impossible to do, so most males have set their sights small because that is all they are allowed to do.
And on the other hand...
Boys were taught to want a wife and children and to partner. Most of the men I talk to cook and have enjoyed working with women to make lives together
I'm confused by your self-contradictory statements.
Are you saying that, by and large, women are rejecting the concept of traditional marriage - but that "most" men are still finding suitable partners for marriage?
